It also looks like the Comic Venom. Be kewel if they can make the movie version look a lot like the comics. :)

Yeah it's a toy but it gives ya a better than good idea what the movie version will look like especially since all the fanboy movie sites were asked by Sideshow [and quickly complied] to remove all images a couple weeks back.
In hindsight I'm glad I didn't post those links.

I'm no expert but I don't think the original comic book Venom had the Bizarro Spidey web pattern.
Also toy/movie Venom is of much more similar bodytype to Spidey as opposed to the steroid enhanced, He-man 4 color version.
