Hey everyone,
My interview with the late Dave Cockrum about his design work for Aurora Plastics is available online at Comic Book Resources, here:
http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/newsitem.cgi?id=9365
It will also run in the next issue of Toy Shop Magazine as well, where it first appeared in 1996.
Hope you enjoy it.
Anthony

Wow! To think what could have been. Mutant? Gort? Darn shame.

It certainly is - but the company was being run by a bunch of cookieheads who got stuck with it in a merger at the time. They were clueless.

Great reading, and like all good Aurora nostalgia takes you back 30 or 40 years. Interesting to read that the MOM Frankenstein was scupted with the idea that he was running away from the villagers.
