I'm confused on how these burshless motors are rated. When you say 3.5 what is that referring to? And how about 4300, what does that mean?

3.5 turns = 3.5

4300 rpm per volt (10.5 turn) = 4300

Interesting, wonder why the 4300 was not called a 10.5 and make life easier LOL

This should help.

In general terms the brushless motors act like the brushed version of their number of winds times 2. This isn't exact but it is real close to performace.

3.5 BL = 7 turn mod
4.5 BL = 9 turn mod
5.5 BL = 11 turn mod
6.5 BL = 13 turn mod
8.5 BL (5800) = 17 turn mod
10.5 BL (4300) = 19 turn mod (close)
13.5 BL = 27 turn stock (close)
