Have to say to start it the weekend after the birds wasn't that great of a plan if you are looking for the beast turnout. I doubt Mike will make it and a whole bunch of others. Would actually like to see a schedule announced somewhere too, maybe on the NEOT thread. The first race being officially confirmed less than 2 weeks before it is happening and not even on it's intended thread pretty much sucks. Forgive me if the schedule is posted somewhere else but I checked the NEOT thread and Nick's website and see nothing! Terry V.

K&N has (and will continue) to have them available for $25 - maybe that will be a way to get you back at K&N!!!!! LOL

Nick, why aren't there any races at Maximus? They had the best turnouts for the entire series races. I understand that you droped Speedzone which makes sense but why drop Maximus.

Nick any change in the points, same 100 for 1st and 1 point for TQ. Just wondering, I see that some other series and tracks are trying different points to keep interest. maybe something to think about. I have always liked the idea of more drops say best 5 out of ten races. It keeps people comming until the last race event. The only draw back may be less travelers. Any news from Northhaverhill.

Points this year will be best 8 of 10, and yes 100 for 1st and 1 for TQ, and 1 for attending ALL the races.

Nick how about 5 points for attending all the races, Just an idea. That way it would make an impact in the final points.

Why have drops if you're going to award points for perfect attendance? Kind of defeats the purpose. One could lose a position to a racer that finished behind him. Is it a racing contest or an attendance contest? I'm all for more drops but to get an X-Tra point because of where you live doesnt make any sense to me.
TQ already gets an X-Tra point.

Kinda late to be changing point rules now...especially perfect attendance points. The race is only 1 day away! Too late for some to change their plans because the point system suddenly changes. If you are going to award perfect attendance point(s), then it should go into effect for March's race.

Kim, the only difference is that it went from 1 point to 5, the attendance points were already in for this season, nothing new.
