offset trucks and trucks with short shocks have to weigh a certain amount ,if not they have to add weight. theres more to it, im not 100% sure.

ok..here is my senerio..figure it out..straight up team associated t3 truck with factory works shock towers and .56 shocks on the front and. .71 shocks on the rear. to add or not add weight that is the question..i think not to add weight but i dont know what the actual rules are. someone with some actual knowledge please clarify on this subject.

you have to ADD weight Mike.i heard Bruce say that.the specifics i don't know about are the actual amounts.

im guessing that its an attempt to make for more of a fair playing field, just like in 1/12. on road style bodied cars MUST add about 2 oz depending on the cars actual weight. the on road bodies give the cars an advantage over the oval style bodies.

same principal with out of the box stock truck vrs an offset and or short shock truck.

if you need more help they are only a phone call away.

Ok here are the Truck Rules for Walt's hobby:

If you have a stock truck, with center battery, and the stock long shocks, your truck should weigh 3lb 4oz

If you have a truck, with any kind of after market chassis, offset battery, and or short shocks and shock towers, your truck should weigh 3lb 10 oz

Any questions let me know! Thanks Todd
