Nowadays I only try to collect black cars when It comes to larger scales. I've wanted this piece since I first saw it, but the price tag always scared me away. Anyway, on the friday before X-mas, an old collecting cohort of mine from the T.H. glory days called me with a tip. His local HASTING'S ENTERTAINMENT super store had one priced at $17.50. The catch was that someone had spilled Coke on the box. Since I intend to open all my cars for display (eventually anyway), I said, "Buy it for me dude!" Turns out the box was actually in better condition than I expected, and all I had to do was wipe the soda off with a damp rag, the car itself was spotless. So here it is, loose and "sugar free".
