Does anyone know how to get in touch with the guy that made the BRL set-up board that was given away at the Cincy race? I would like to know if he is selling custom ones.

my custom pitboards are in the process of being made I should have them with in the next 2 weeks, The production pitboard is smaller then the Concours awards for transportation reasons

These boards are great, when I 1st got mine I was scared to use it because it was good looking I was scared it would get hammered with use, but it still looks great after use. The vinyl top layer that covers the graphics is tuff and the parts/tool pockets work out really nice to keep parts from rolling around.

Yeah I know, we've both been in the final 3 more than once. Maybe I'll still try to win one. The BRL Concours one is bigger.

I have 2 of the bigger pitboard left 1 is for FT. Wayne, IN & 1 is going to the Snowbirds 4300 Brushless TQ, the last 2 races of The BRL will be the new size production pitboards

So if you do not win the next Concours @ FT. Wayne or fast enough to get 4300 TQ @ the Snowbirds you most likely won't get one of the bigger pitboard do to the fact of the cost.

How big was the first ones? Can you post some pics when you get some done?

john has never suported me or my racing efforts,so therfore i do not advertise for him.and i would hate to scratch out or have to put a T.M TIRES sticker on my nice new pit board.

I think John has done alot for us as racers. He is a major sponsor of the greatest RC series on the planet! I am a loyal supporter of all things TM but we still ( Like it or not ) Have to give BSR some credit. Lets just talk Tony into jumping in and lending some support next year!

not saying that they do but.....its my money and i am not part of the john foister fan club that most are part of and i dont want his logo on my pit board.this is turning into sumthing it shouldn't be so if you want to buy a pit board with it on there more power to you.and tony does take care of his guys and i bet if he WAS asked to be involved in the first place i am sure he would of been a sponser but seing how sonny is hooked up with john i am sure he wasnt even asked.i am done with this and headed out the door for summit,i look foward to geting my pit board and if anyone wants to debate this subject anymore feel free to talk to me there about it.

This has bothered me for quite a while, Some people think I am a non-player. I have been making tires a lot longer then some of you have been racing. I was making tires when TRC was TRC not Trinity. Tony you have a good product and also have some drivers that are doing very well on the BRL series.

As far as series sponsorship you are correct I never approached you about it. Allow me to explain why.

When I first started to look for key sponsor in the series I approached several companies, John at BSR was one of the first to really get behind what I was trying to do. He stepped up in a big way and for that he became our title sponsors.

For doing so I (not John) chose to limit the number of tire sponsors on the series for this season. If you would look at a NASCAR you would not see them indorsing competing companies to their title sponsor”Nextel” at a cup event. You may have individual teams/drivers that run for competing companies but not the organization.

This is probably a little different thinking then what the R/C world is use to but then again our series is run a little differently as well.

With this being said I have no problem with drivers running yours or any other brand of tires or for any other competing sponsor, nor do I show bias to the BSR users. I try to run as fair a show as possible. I think it’s great to have on track competition between the manufacturers and it’s obviously a benefit to the racers that you’re helping out.
