the track is 95x38. i will be running a kc 19turn motor with a darkside slider car. just looking for a great ballpark guess on the spur and pinion for this set-up.

ok i know i should know this but i have never heard of roll-out. we just always used ratio's, when getting a gear set-up. can someone get me the spur and pinion teeth number so i can get close. the motor is a kc 19 turn.

Gearing depends on tire size when it comes to foam tire racing.

ok... how do you figure roll-out? but most of my tires are around 2.15 diameter.

Roll out is how far the car will travel with one revolution of the motor. This takes into effect your tire size and gear ratio

diameter of tire x pi (3.141) divided by gear ratio= roll out.

having two axles with a 2 tooth difference (say 118 and a 120) will let you dial in when your tires wear down.
