aurora fan 01-08-2007, 08:58 PM I'm amazed you have posted over 1000 times and yet, you can't spell, you can't form a simple, common sentence, and you don't understand that we don't talk sports in the MfM forum.
I'm sure you think you're funny, and at this moment, sitting in your basement, wearing nothing but your underpants, giggiling like a little girl.
Sorry. I shouldn't have said that. Please accept my apology and go buy a TV guide.

Well said, and seconded.

And thirded.
Look dude, this forum is great for TV stuff too to discuss any movie or TV related things even. But not sports. Now, if it is called SNOWcross, I highly anticipate it being in the WINTER, unless, of course, they use artificial turf. OR, you could use this little thing called a search engine, and do some research on when this might be on. I think it is quite apparent that no one can help you, so unless you can convince hank to make a sports thread, please go look it up yourself. You might try Wikipedia.
And I doubt Griff LET you start a new one, you just did it yourself.
spyhunter50 01-09-2007, 12:10 PM go talk to him yourself... ... if you dont have nothing to say about SNOWCROSS then dont post on my thread.........
spyhunter50 01-09-2007, 12:15 PM i got the pm still from him when i ask him.. what forum should i put it in...... and this thread is not about a spelling bee....
Ohio_Southpaw 01-09-2007, 02:04 PM I was watching The Empire Strikes Back on DVD the other night. In the Hoth battle sequence, I noticed that the snow speeders flew pretty low, practically ground level. And they are pretty fast. That reminded me of snowcross, which was on ESPN2 last year. I wonder if they'll have it again this year?

You mean other than the fact it's even lamer than OCC and Meet the Carters, the last lame shows you insisted on enlightening us on despite the fact you couldn't even get the titles right?
I gotta admit though, I'm sure it's the best show about "smowmobile racing" ever.
gruffydd 01-09-2007, 03:47 PM You guys are kind of making me feel sorry for this guy - why can't we give him a break.
Griffworks 01-09-2007, 05:55 PM Alright, you guys. MANY of you have typos in your posts and I think we could derail many a thread by pointing them out every time they happen. Instead, we only occasionally point them out if they're particularly funny - most of the time.
While I know it's annoying when people don't either run their post thru a Spell Checker program (can be done using most email programs) or self-edit and when things like punctuation are ignored that it makes it hard to follow what someone is saying. It's certainly been a pet peeve of mine for some years.
However, that's no reason to go out of your way to make fun of someone else or outright attack them. That's uncalled for, rude and - most importantly - against the rules.
You guys KNOW better than that!
Instead of berating someone, you should at least try to amicably tell that person that you're having a hard time understanding what they're saying and ask them to correct their style. After that, just ignore them. That's what I sometimes do w/folks that can't be bothered to try to effectively communicate - they don't want to take the time to self-edit a bit than I'm not going to take the time to read what they've got to say.
Regardless, this behavior is blatantly insulting.
Aurora Fan - official warning. You're on parole w/me until the end of the month. A Three Day Time Out is what you'll get if you break the rules any longer. I hate doing it because you're usually one of the funny regulars, but that's what you'll get if you misbehave between now and 1 February.
spyhunter50 - I'll suggest to you that you take the time to go thru your posts and do a little cleaning up by either using a spell checker program or just looking at it and thinking "Is this how other folks communicate?" I don't think that asking you to self-edit your posts a bit by using cap's, punctuation and putting a bit more thought in to what you're trying to say is asking too much. You'll also find that folks won't be so... abrasive in response.
And I doubt Griff LET you start a new one, you just did it yourself.
Wrong, I did indeed tell him it was alright, tho I thought this was a thread for discussion. He had contacted me about it via PM. I didn't see a problem w/an off-topic discussion on sports here, seeing as we've strayed from a topic once or twice....
Anyhow, I'm locking the thread.
Some of you guys are unbelievable....
Griffworks 01-09-2007, 05:59 PM One more thing for spyhunter50 - nx-01troubles brings up a good point about Search Engines. You could have even tried using ESPN.com to look thru their schedule to find the Snowcross programs you're looking for. I realize that you were likely just trying to start some conversation about the sport, but apparently most of the folks here aren't responsive to that.
So, I think that from this point on we need to stick to the subject of this forum - Movies and related media (TV Shows, TV Movies, Direct To Video movies, etc...) - and just leave sports out of this sub-forum.
