Thanks for the new thread Tony!! All Team guys will be getting an email tonight for Snowbirds orders. If you dont get it please email me as it means your not in the new address book.

C027s, KD's, and X stocks will be back in stock the middle of next week. Batteries are on the way for the birds as well...The new batches have been great. New Turbo Matcher 8's are ordered but probably wont be ready till April....They should really improve a few things in the matching process!!

Looking forward to 2007 and the repeat success of 2006!!

Brooks Derting broke the track record in 4-cell stock at TRD Hobbies in Salisbury, NC. EA Motors and Batteries helped power his Hyperdrive PRO3 to victory and a new track record. (51 4:00 new record, 51 4:02 old record)

Here is a list of what Brooks used:

EA Motorsports Matched IB4200 4-cell (only 400 runtime pack!)
EA Motorsports CO-27 stock motor
EA Motorsports +Red/Red- springs
EA/Finishline "F" Laydown brushes

Congrats to "Brooksie" for his new track record, and BIG thanks to EA for the mad RIP..."It's All In The Can!"

Hopefully everyone came away with a good vibe about the race and such. Thanks to Jim Herrmann, Mo Denton and Josh Cyrul for the chassis help all week. Congrats to the following guys on their performances at the Birds.

Eric how is the new batch of 4200's looking?

EAMotorsports
02-23-2007, 02:17 PM
Eric how is the new batch of 4200's looking? These are better than the ones we had for the Snowbirds. Voltage is still down a tick on average and IR's are a little higher. But the voltage curve's are still better than the previous stuff that had higher voltage. We compared old stuff (3 weeks) with better avg numbers to the newer stuff with lower avg numbers at the Birds and in every case the newer stuff ended up being faster on the track.

I should be done with this batch over the weekend and will know more about them.

Hey, whats going on at EA Motorsports? Looks to quite to me. I've been idol from racing for a little over a month and its killing me. Going to cycle all my packs today and see where they are at. How are the current cells coming along? Its got to be tough from a matchers stand point to absorb the up and down consistancy of the cells you receive. I'm sure everyone that contacts you wants the BIG sticks and everyone knows there are only so many of them.

Have you thought anymore about the Delaware Paved oval race in May? Free lodging and breakfast and we might be able to sneak you into the novice class,,,like we do Tyson every year. :-)

I should have some of the newest IB4200WC cells next week. Rumor has it these will be better than what we have seen the past few months....Voltage, IR and durablitity wise!!

EA, any word on when you might recieve more MRT speedo's?

EAMotorsports
03-15-2007, 09:49 AM
They are working on one with a few more profiles and frequencies built into it. It will have slightly better FET specs as well. They also have one that they will probably only be selling in the UK due to price. I have one of the prototypes and it was run by an oval racer at the snowbirds who made the A main and couldnt believe how good the punch was. There is no speedo available on the planet that even comes close to this one as far as spec's and such.
