Bought a 1/64 Maisto roll back car hauler with a nice vette on the back...got it home....the scale is a tad bigger than the car I planned on displaying on it...

A JL 1/64 pontiac...

Well...the scale is obviously off a bit...either the JL isnt 1:64...or the maisto is bigger than 1:64

Hmmf... :freak:

It will still look good on the layout (future)...

Note to self...take car along next time...

Curious though....I was leaning tword 1:64 scale buildings and such rather than HO....but 1:64 is listed as "S" gauge...

This will obviously require more thought... :cool:

Had my nephew at TRU the other night and saw some DCs that were labeled 1/64 but looked closer to 1/43. :freak: rr

This is what I found in regards to model railroading:

O= 1/48th
S= 1/64th
HO= 1/87th
N= 1/160th

I’m not sure if it’s much help or applicable to slots-
The chassis style and gear-plate height seem to determine the body size. :freak:

Cheers..
