I hope so, you might want to pre-order the SC. No firm release date yet, Tekin ran into some delays because of the mid-west snow storms. Made in the USA!

I just picked up a tekin speedo and am having trouble seting it up.When I set the drive frequency to its lowest setting it holds it there if I keep the car turned on,but if I turn the car off and than back on again it doesnt save it and returns to its default drive frequency.Any suggestions?

I'm thinking of giving the Tekin Battery Dr. a try. How many people are still using one and having good results? Is bringing the newer 4200 WC cells down to 0.05 volts too low?

To leave them in the tray for long peroids is not good, but to just equlize before a charge it is fine, Usally take them out when all the light go out that is around .7-.8v that is better

.7 or .8 is better but 1 volt seems to be the norm now for the newest cells.Anybody heard anything on the new ESC's?

Brushless units being track tested now.

Brushed units will not see tracks for the next couple of weeks, needs more tweaks.

yeah she is sweet.well i know first hand that sometimes things dont go as planned.but you want your product to be good the first time out.you would not want to take any short cuts and have bad product.or a bad name.it will be all good when they arrive.

Does the battery nurse just tell you when the battery needs charge, or does it keep charge in the pack? I have one, It came with no instuctions. What I can tell is it blinks when the charge is above the selected volts, And is steady when it falls below. If its suppose to keep charge in the pack Why would it go steady?

JH Racing
06-10-2007, 03:15 AM
I think it just keeps the pack at a steady voltage I could be wrong.

Matt Bayless
06-10-2007, 03:26 AM
Jh is correct it allows the pack to rest and when the packs voltage drops down to the set voltage drop off point it charges back up to the set voltage that you choose for the pack . The blinking is a good thing it shows its doing its thing . When the lights are out the battery nurse is letting the battery just set . When the light is steady on it charging . When its a quick little blink its moneriting the pack and give it a little brust of voltage . I been useing this for about 2 months now my packs stay fresh all the time . I even put a few of my older packs on one for some testing and it seems to have woke them up . It certainly makes the battery feel awake and fresh every run even if that pack has been setting for awhile . I plug my nurse in at home and leave my packs on them only to take them off to discharge race day . I race the pack then I do nothing . I DONT discharge ANY PACK after the race any more I just put on the nurse an wait until next weekend and start all over again .
