So, we're building a new dirt oval track in Omaha, NE, and I am getting ready to build up my old tc3 for some modified late model action.

My only question is what tires are used?

The track will be loose dirt kept moist and we'll be running at night.
We stock hpi rally tires, but is there anything else out there that can work?

Thanks!

There is also the Associated rally tires, Perelli T type tire. In OKC they use teh perelli both indoor and outdoor as the track tire for a few classes. Makes it nice one tire choice so the rest is up to the driver making the car work...There are others I have seent that HPI makes too.

WE race NTC3's on clay with Late Model bodies and a fence down the side (out law style) we use Jaco pink's on each corner. The HPI sedan rallys work well also, changes the feel of the car in the corners, does not slide as much.
