Aren and I set up a mini oval in the driveway and raced mini-t's ;) We're ready to play with our "real" toy cars on the big oval and I might surprise some touring guys and bring that other car that turns left and right....
I see the new guy lurking on this thread too so maybe he'll so up too ;)

What you talking about? It's our first race for 2007, the sun will be covered up a little, so we won't get to hot racing our toys in the middle of the day and the track will be cool for some fast racing. After all that is done I may do it again at Superior on Sunday :p
Got to start the new year right.....

rcgen 01-05-2007, 08:42 PM Hey Mark what kind of motor are you using for touring? I'm thinking about running a brushed motor instead of the brushless.
stoneman 01-05-2007, 09:10 PM rcgen: I run a komoto dragon.
Roy do we still have those propane torches? I think we are going to need them in the morning. I will try to get there around 8 to help dry the track. we may have to forget about the sugar if we don't think it will dry in time.
turnmarker 01-05-2007, 10:24 PM translate right on

Practice, If you don't know how to drive by now, I don't know what to tell you. You don't think everybody not showing up cause they want to save their cars for Snowbirds do ya?????
shrabber 01-08-2007, 08:43 PM Ahh yikes

we need to suport the local club as well or it will die. drive an old car, I know they got em.
irvan36mm 01-09-2007, 12:44 AM Practice, If you don't know how to drive by now, I don't know what to tell you. You don't think everybody not showing up cause they want to save their cars for Snowbirds do ya????? That's probably what it is-everybody's getting ready for the 'Birds. It happens every year. If HW were a carpet track, there probably wouldn't be a problem w/ attendance. I might even have to turn people away-there would be so many! LOL
I do suspect, though, that after it starts to warm-up (even though it's been a mild Winter so far, maybe March-April? Maybe earlier??),this year will be the last time we'll run a Saturday program-except for special races (Focars, etc).
Don't worry-it'll pick up after the 'Birds. The Focars series starts shortly after that as well as the Speedway Spectacular.
-George
BullFrog 01-09-2007, 08:46 AM If they are getting ready for the birds - do any of them have a legends car? I've got one used Rolling chassis with a used body.If you like running the small track at HW you'll like what we have planned for these two series.
irvan36mm 01-09-2007, 12:29 PM Stoney- Remember that Elmo TMX you got for Christmas???
