I have one of each and the ones I am seeing in the store seem to be getting smaller then the originals.idn't want to buy one because the first ones were to big for the scale I mess with.

I can't imagine they would go through the cost of redoing the casting to make it smaller. I havent really looked that closely to be honest though.

You must of seen the new 1/87 cars ... No Maverick though .. Pinto , Gremlin & Pacer .

The Ford model in the 1/87 series is the Escort 1981.The Pinto is a wagon.

I don't think the castings are getting smaller....you're just getting bigger! :D
