hello i have a kohler command 12.5hp engine. its horizontal right now but i want to put it in a riding mower with vertical shaft. this engine can be bolted down vertically because you just switch the oil dipstick to the other hole provided and th carb needs switched around. there is motor mounts for vertical so it must work that way to.
is this possible?

How is the oil going to circulate?

not sure i think it will work the same because the oil thing will probably still pull oil up around the motor. anyone know if it would work??
