Just Thought I would start this thread for the latest news and upcoming events for 2007.

i love to race seaford but the fact is its seems to be fallen to the wayside.i did my best last year to help keep it going.i think they should run less races,really look at the schedules of other tracks and come up with some solid dates in order to get the count up! the future of this track looks a little iffy,with all the construction going on in that area?? i still think 07 could be a great year if we all work with it> key word ALL of us...jmo

You and everybodyelse know we have fought that problem for years.

I think we will have a good year.

The date for the Custom Works/Delaware Paved Oval Championships will be May 4th. & 5th. The ORL Race will be May 6th. Two huge races in one weekend. More info to follow

PT when will the first meeting be?

I plan on having a meeting sometime during Jan. Have to work around my travel and Jan. is booked every week. I will post on this thread

PT can you clear up why our race was moved up the ORL racers would like to know me personally I think it's a good call.

The reason for moving the race was a scheduling conflict with Scarecrow!!

Opening day will be in the middle of April. Not sure exact date yet. All of April's dates will be Saturday afternoon's so everyone can come down to get in some practice before the BIG race weekend

This is going to be a big Weekend of racing should be great.

The first meeting of 2007 will be Friday night Jan. 19th. 7:30 PM @ the donut shop in Seaford. Hope all the club members and local racers can attend so we can set the race schedule for 2007.

Well we had our first meeting of the year it looks like we will be getting new scoring software opening day will be April 21 we know their is a ORL race at the bowl start time will be 12 noon so whoever comes on opening day and plans to run the ORL race can still get home early that evening next meeting will be sometime in Febuary .

Thanks for the update. Sorry I couldn't make it to the meeting. Pulled a mussle in my back and have been grounded for a few days. What improvements will the new software have? I look forward to racing in Seaford this year.

I think the improvement will be that it is more user friendly. Bill hope your back gets better that's painful.

Bill, the new software is ProScoring. It is much more user frriendly and provides more info than autoscore. Seems most all the big races are using this program.

I hope we can still use our amb personals with it

The only thing changing is the software personals still work.

Quinn, We are waiting for input from the local racers as to what they want to run. We will run anything as long as we can get 3 -4 racers.

I'm an out of towner but I can say here's 4 or 5 for 4 cell stock

Do you run nitro sprints?

We did one year but not any nitro racing last year.

The race flyer has been completed for the race May 5th. with the ORL race on May 6th. We did not post brushless on the entry form but intend to have one brushless class. We need to know which class to run? 13.5 or 4300? We will offer a 60% payback for this class. Please let me know which class you want.

Which class has the msot following? I know your just getting started with both but I want to know which 1 we should run at the De. Paved Oval Race?

as new as brushless is to this area, you ought to wait and see what shows up.......... :thumbsup:

George, we would like to run only 1 brushless class at the CW race as we would like to finish by 9:00 PM on Saturday since we will be running the ORL race on Sunday. But we will be flexible if we get enough interest.

The next Club Meeting will be Friday Mar. 2nd. The meeting will be @ the Donut Shop next to the Dairy Queen on Rt 13 Seaford starting @ 7:30. Please pass this date to all the racers as we need to get the season plannig completed.
