hey y'all. what up? i want to get into nitro and i don't know what truck is a good truck to that is good quality. a T-Maxx 2.5 or a JATO 2.5. i love speed and that is what the Jato will give me but i do like the 4WD of the T-Maxx. i know i can put a bigger motor in the T but idk if the jato would be better for speed since it is set up for speed. also all i will do is bash it. which truck do u think i should get?

it depends on what you are gonna do with the truck and where you are gonna drive it, if u do more on paved roads or short grass and light dirt then u should go with the jato. but if u plan on jumping higher going into rougher terrain and running on big hills then the t-maxx is your truck. And the t-maxx can become a good speed machine, with the right upgrades and the right motor you can do alot with the truck, and if u want more speed out of it and some of the factory upgrades i would go with the new 3.3 versions, especially in the t-maxx they have made alot of improvement in the tmaxx from the 2.5 and the 3.3. Another thing to consider if u afford it and plan on maybe racing it in the future the traxxas 3.3 revo is a good truck it will do all that the t-maxx will and more, the revo can be ferther modified so it can be a very nice racing machine. so with what u plan to do will depend on what u want to get.

Either the t-maxx or a Revo would be trick , T-maxx because there are alot of hop ups and alot of machines out there, i had a revo and loved it ,but i'm not a nitro guy so someday i'm going to find a E-Maxx for myself, I don't beleive the Jato will take the abuse that the T-maxx will.

i love speed. i have a stampede w/ a 12T motor in it right not and the electric power doesn't provide enough speed for me. i just drive it on the street and i jump it very little. i have a bike jump but it isn't that fun. i think im going to get the jato. it gives me more speed out of the box. stock
