I was wondering what most of you guys run for spoiler height? I'm running stock. So would you leave it full height or trim some off it. I currently run the r/t and I'm waiting on a charger body.
Thanks,
Fireball

if you runa a wing, i usually ran like 5/8ths.. if you dont run a wing, run it full size.. You can actually use the spoiler, and ing as a tuning tool.. The charger has a built in spoiler, but it isnt big enough in my opinion.. i use the add on as well..

If you are running stock you won't need much of a spoiler. Cars are not that fast in stock. I would cut is down to 1/2 inch. Faster classes I would remove the spoiler and run a wing (4300 brushless, 19 turn etc).

If you run a wing, and the car seems unsettled in the rear. Using a small 1/4" spoiler can help settle it down. In stock on carpet, you only need a spoiler. We have tried both large and small and didn't see any difference.

furball, to save wait and time, don't run a body. are you working on getting your record back?

On the old style Protoforms where you had to cut the spoiler I always ran 1/4" in stock if I was running a wing. If I ran without a wing on a flat track I would run it about 3/4" to full just depending on how much bite the track had.
On the new style with the small built in spoiler, if I ran a wing, I usually never added any additional spoiler.

cut the wing thats provided in half, less drag unless you need that much grip in stock or at a certain track with low bite
