I have a new 18.5 hp Intek, model 31P777 that I've installed on my mower. Engine seems to starve for fuel, so I ordered a fuel pump (part number 808656) that is operated from the crankcase pressure (engine from smallenginewarehouse.com did not have a fuel pump). I threw away the old engine but forgot to remove the pump, and I didn't notice how the fuel pump was hooked up.

Question: Where is the best location to install the fitting on the crankcase? Or, is their an alternative location to install the fitting?
Thanks!!

On a lot of the newer engines they are mounted above the valve cover and the pulse hose is insterted into the valve cover to operate the fuel pump. You may need a mounting bracket to install it there.
