Kohler 20hp will not start. Replaced fuel pump but fuel is not getting to carb. I can spray fuel in carb and it will run for a second or two. I've cleaned the card blew it out with air hose. The float works and needle valve is clean, however, this engine has setup for a couple of months. I'm guessing something is gummed up but wher?e.

these engines have a fuel shutdown which is activated by the oil switch so if its low on oil or the fuel solenoid is sticking thats a good place to start good luck
