In the instructions, it says to install the bonding plug into the battery/bonding slot and cut on the receiver. That's fine for electric but on my gas car I run on a receiver pack only so if I have to put the bonding plug in the battery slot......HOW CAN I TURN IT ON?

What JSJ said is not correct. It will not work that way either. I have not tried it but I think you have to use a Y harness on the 3rd channel. One for the transponder and one for the battery. Get in touch with Humpty as he will know for sure!

I have it bonded in my electric car so there will not be a problem to just move it over the to gas car but their instructions are a bit screwed up. LOL

once bonded in the electric car couldn't you transfer the receiver to the gas car?

I'm a diehard electric guy myself also, have been or 15-16 years now,but I've recently tried the .09 cars and they are a blast, just as much fun as electric for sure, but I'm still all electric by heart.

I installed my receiver pack in the 4th slot and put the binding plug in the battery slot. I switched on the receiver pack and then bonded the radio to the micro. After it was bonded I removed the binding plug and moved the receiver plug to the battery slot. Everything works great for me.
