Hey not bad looking one - i really like the color on it!.. I did this one i cant remember maybe last year or so.. and sold it for 30 bucks for the body only. not bad ehh? the body i got was in bad shape - front bumper was broken off and has no glass plus lexan painted in black in the trunk..

NICE work on yours.
I used a candy red metal flake from Testors on this one. I've been trying out different paints and techniques. The one I have On ebay now is one that I sprayed gold maetal flake on first, then coated it wuth a transparent candy red. I like that method the best, it really give a nice depth of color
I had to make a little cutout on the chassis for the pipes. It's worked out great, plus any body I put that chassis on has a nice set of chrome pipes sneaking out from under.
I used cloth to make the rear cover. I really thin cheap piece of bed sheet that I glued onto lexan, then painted black.

Nice work VJ. I loved this back when Wes posted it. I have one in dire need of repair. (I did all of the damage to it when I was a kid)
Where did either of you get your decals?

I can remember watching the real truck doing wheely runs at the Drag Strips. The crowds really loved it. Nice to see people doing models of them, esspecially ones that can go down a scale drag strip.
