I was just wondering if anyone here collects mid- high range diecast? I mean like AutoArt, Kyosho, UT, Highway61...stuff like that.
I ask this cause if there were enough people collecting them maybe a new subfourm would be good for the fourm ( im sure it would attract more people to HobbyTalk).

cheers 8)

Hi guys, welcome aboard. I to am hoping for a 1/18 forum one day here on HT. But untill then, this is still a good thread to run them on.

I only have 9, but they are carefuly selected ( at that kind of money, they have to be don't they!) I have 3 GMP (not counting the two GMP Trailers), 1 AutoArt, 1 Maisto ( true scale piece, not this newer wal-mart stuff), 1 U.T., 1 Beanstalk (Ford) and one SC (Shelby Collectibles).

Never was a 1/18 fan, but I have really enjoied these pieces the last couple of years!

I think its a great idea. There's not alot of places really to talk about them. Ive got 7 AutoArt, 1 Lane Exact Detail, 1 Hwy61 with 1 more on the way, 3 GMPs, 1 CMC, 1 Exoto, 3 Mattel Legends, and 5 Danbury's.

I just don't get the same satisfaction with the cheaper models as I do with the mid-high end stuff.

I saved up for a Franklin Mint Boss 429, other than that nothing "high end" for me, not enough money.
