I am sure this question has been asked many times here but I can't seem to find the thread so I will ask again. I am using a LRP Spheire Comp speed controler, last night for the first time in 6 months of using it the car would not start to move at the start of the race. I pick the car up and checked the conections, pull the throtle and it ran fine after that. What is the problem? I also am using DSM. Is it the speed controler going bad?.

Did you wait till the radio and the receiver found an open fequency. It takes a little while to after you turn the radio then the reciever to properly search and find a channel per say. If you tried to pull the trigger in that time it would not have worked.

It could be a fail safe as well. If voltage gets to low the fail safe will shut things down and you can turn the esc off and back on then it works which give the appearance that the speed control is bad.

I had the car on for about 1 min before the start of the race starting, and it was a fully charged pack.
