BullFrog 12-26-2006, 11:41 AM Some late breaking news about tires for Legends.Just heard they will be comming out with spec tires. They will be BSR tires with the bands in them. So in Feb. we might be switching to the spec tires. I'm waiting for the confirmation that they in stock.
BullFrog 01-08-2007, 07:22 AM The series will be kicking off this Sunday from 1-4pm at Harry's.What ever type of Legends you have bring them out- nobody will be turned away.
I've been playing with an old legends car I picked up used. We race a 6.0 break-out class (this way it allows us to run what ever we can put together from our pit box without spending loads of money and getting caught up with rules). They're great fun, have a good time guys! don
BullFrog 01-11-2007, 07:25 AM the series kick off is getting closer- 3 days. I've got one used roller Chassis with body for sale.

Joe Malin 01-11-2007, 06:59 PM Both series are oval. No road course.
Thanks Bill. See Ya Sunday afternoon. BTW Where is Harry's? I'll be coming from 103rd and Wesconnett, Buchman to San Jose. Left to Sunbeam. Turn right and then where?
Joe :dude:
BullFrog 01-12-2007, 06:26 AM 5050-5 Sunbeam Road (just past the second red light after the post office) on the right. There is a convience store a few doors down and Ronnies Lawnmower repair across the street.
BullFrog 01-14-2007, 07:47 PM Well several things happened today. One can be corrected one could not. The could not at 12:15 it started to rain. Even if it didn't Harry had the computer and my car locked up inside the shop.Only two racers showed up. I know there are more Legends cars out there.I say this exposurer is better than no exposurer. But this is the first try and will will again try to get things going on the last sunday of the month.More announcements coming in the next few weeks.
rcgen 01-14-2007, 11:26 PM Well add two more that showed up. Aren and I were there around 11:30 saw nothing, closed and locked up, so we headed back home. Just let us know and we'll be at the next one.
BullFrog 01-15-2007, 06:23 AM Sorry I missed you I had to correct two mistakes by my delivery drivers from Saturday. I didn't get there until 12:05.There was also and off-road guy there also.Stay tuned for the updates coming soon......
BullFrog 01-17-2007, 08:06 AM Ok - everything is set for Jan 28 at Harry's. I also have something going on earlier that morning so I might not get there until around 12:00.We will race (weather permitting) from 1-4 pm. I am also working on some other race sites around the city. Remember the old days when we raced in parking lots - more people actually saw what we do and got into the hobby. It's hard to see what's going on behind the fences on Sunbeam and 103rd espically if you never see it you don't know about it. I just want to get more people exposed to the hobby but I need your support.
BullFrog 01-31-2007, 10:06 AM Next race Feb 28th......
Joe Malin 05-06-2007, 08:00 PM Well the first car show/ legends race is in the books. There were 10 show cars show up to be seen by the public. Cars from the early 50's to present. There was even a Chevrolet Nova II drag car with full blower, very wide slicks, and noise to match. Several Corvettes,Older Mustangs,Japanese rice burners, to mention a few. And then there was the Legends race. Free entry to add but alas only three(3) bothered to show. :( :( Phillip from brunswick, Bill, and myself filled the race entries. Cannot believe those racers from Jax area would not even come out to a FREE RACE. Well as they say 'Wait until next month'.
Thanks again to Bill for free food and drinks from the Mandarin Ale house...  See Ya next month........!!!!
Joe Mama :dude:
BullFrog 05-07-2007, 01:25 PM Thanks for coming to the free race. The next one is at the Orange Park Ale house.Maybe it was to far to travel over the bridge?
Joe Malin 06-01-2007, 12:23 PM Bill....... Where is the O.P. Ale House? I think you said on Park Ave near OutBack ...
Joe :dude:
BullFrog 06-01-2007, 01:10 PM Joe the OP ale house is across the street from outback. By the way outback is on Wells road(like the ale house is). Look for Hooters-Ruby Tuesday and the ale house is right behind Ruby tuesday.I'm picking up the computer tommorrow so everything is ready to go for the Legends racing. That's right- Legends racing this Sunday from 1-4pm.
rcgen 06-03-2007, 08:31 PM Enjoyed running the legend car again, today. It's been a long time since I ran them and I had to wipe the dust of the body LOL. I forgot how fun it was to run a car that was built so simple. You J'ville/OP/Middleburg guys/gals with those legends cars need to come out on a Sunday afternoon and run those cars again. A great way of promoting r/c racing in Jacksonville, plus Bill mentioned our racing program on Friday nights at HW.
The car show itself was great alot of sweet looking cars from old to new. The new mustangs were nice too.
