With a day of near record speeds all day long, some of the fastest Velodrome racing in recorded history took place this past Saturday.
Scot Petitclerc, Richard Tompkins, Donn Natale, Jerry Purser and the "WORLDS FASTEST R/C DRIVER Nic Case" were ALL setting the track on Fire. Nic had the single fastest lap turning a lap of 8.7 seconds, Scot Petitclerc was almost as fast, but settled in for a smooth RECORD run turning a 31/5:05.67 and change taking just over 2 seconds off the old record time set by Eric Brust in July.
In Stock it was "Uncle Buck" Buck VanPatten taking setting the record pace, dropping the time to a 25/5:06.26 from the old 25/5:09.95
Geat day of racing, cool track led to great traction and SUPER Fast racing.
(The ENCINO VELODROME is approx 264 meters)
