Well I haven't finished my thank you speech yet, but I thought I'd at least get a thread started so we have a common place to go post our thank you's.

More news at 11.

I just want to thank Sonny and all of the track owners and helpers. I'm having a great time at these events. We have had to make some pretty big treks to get there, but it is well worth it. Everyone I have met has been very friendly and helpful. Well once again thanks everyone.

Sonny - Every one of these races just gets better and better. We could not have a better group of people to race with in this series. To Victory R/C - you guys have a great track and hobby shop, thank you taking good care of us. See you guys in January. Mike Kingsley

First off I would like to thank Sonny for putting together this series. It was the first race for me in a long time, but I had an AWESOME time. I have never had so much time to work on tuning the chassis & being able to visit with my friends & even watch some races at a race track. It's pretty cool to bolt a motor in and never think about it all weekend long.

I would also like to thank the Victory Hobbies crew. The hobby shop is well stocked with anything you could want and of course all the oval goodies! The carpet track is super nice, and the indoor dirt tri-oval in the back..........I can't wait to fly around that!!!

I also had the chance to see all my old friends & hero's again, I even had the chance to make some more new friends like Butch Beebe, Danny White & Matt Gansen, that to me is priceless. My fellow cheesehads, the whole Iowa gang, all the Michigan guys, heck even the Illinois flatlanders, you guys all make this hobby fun. Not to mention I had the oppertunity to meet, race against, & even go out to dinner with the often imitated & NEVER duplicated Rob "Wolfman" Mulvaney!

Most importantly I need to thank Sonny Brown for bringing a car, tires, parts, & stuff up and letting me run it. I got the e-mail from Sonny on Thursday with the offer to drive the car, I thought about it for a few hours, talked it over with my wife, the BOSS, then decided to go ahead and race. That decision turned out to be a pretty good one since I ended up TQ'ing & winning the A-main in 13.5 stock. Who knew you could run third, lead, get spun, run 4th, then in the last 15-seconds have the lead giving back to you & win the deal, Merry Christmas to me! Who would have thought I could take almost 3-years off of driving any r/c cars & pull off a TQ & a win on a borrowed car?

Now I just need to decide if I want to put together a carpet oval car of my own? I mean I am qualified for the $1200 Allstar race at Novak Finals.

To all of you at Victory RC and Sonny what a great job all of you did. Very nice facility, good donuts, great crowd, nice town, well stocked hobby shop and a big thanks for practice on Friday night. I wished the track was closer so I could make it out there more often.

Once again thanks for a great weekend.

Once again a top notch program. Everyone involved with running that track is first class. Like Keith said i wish it was closer, i would be there every week.

Keep up the great work Sonny, i was really against this brushless stuff at first but it's starting to grow on me.
