Does he only have the one song?

At Disney/MGM on the New York streets they have the "Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights." Mr. Osborne of North Carolina (I think), to please his daughters decorated his house with one million lights. He liked it so much, that he bought the house on either side of his and decorated them too. Total: Three million lights! The Disney announcer is a bit vague on what happened next, but there must been some sort of neighborhood revolt, because the three million lights, plus more are not at Disney World.

It is very beautiful, and wonderous. It's also about ten degress warmer on those streets. I don't know if it is the lights, the amazing number of people, or a combination of the two. But I do know that it is cooler off the NY backlot than it is on it.

There used to be a house in Nutley NJ that had the most elaborate light show in the county ever Christmas. You could see it from the Parkway. A couple years ago somebody stole half the decorations (I suspect a neighbor who was sick of being kept up all night  ), and the guy hasn't put up a display since.

In a neighbohood near us, there is like a light museum or something. Every single tree is decorated the same, and there is actually one house that says "Enter this way" and people actually flock to go and look at the stuff.

Is this Chevy Chases's house?

I think its all a plot by the electric company to drive up your December power bill!

This guy is about 1 mile away from where I work. Last year when the video got posted on the internet all hell broke loose and there were cars backed up for miles and of course an accident occured. Not wanting to aggravate the neighbors yet again, this year the display has been moved to a local park with a house 'facade' so that everybody can enjoy it without disrupting an entire neighborhood.

Here's a link to the story of what they are doing this year.
