I have an old Hot wheels poster and I need information on it . My father received it when he was younger, he thinks it was in 69 or 70 but hes not sure. It has three redline cars on it and had a cartoon sceme, if anyone knows about this poster let me know. I've had it for a couple of years and never have seen one on E-bay yet. Thanks JP79

In my 2nd edition Tomart's I found some posters (one of which I had as a child). One of them fits your description. It has three cartoon cars racing with a black and white checkered flag in the background. The drivers are not visible except for their eyes. Is that it? The guide lists it as coming from 1971, but I don't see any other information about it except for a price.

Thats it, just wondering if anyone has seen one or if it was really rare.I really don't know alot about hot wheels execpt for I wish I had all the ones I had as a kid!I am 26 years old. How much does the book list it for in mint condition. Thanks alot.

My guide lists just a single price, $35, but I don't know if that is for the poster in its original packaging or not. You should also keep in mind that my copy of Tomart's was printed in 1997. I think that the latest version is the fourth edition.

I have never seen that actual poster myself, but then again, I am not as well versed in Hot Wheels as many others are, so I can't speak to its rarity. Good luck in finding more information on it.
