hey y'all. i have an Epede. i am thinking about getting a brushless. i was looking and i was thinking about getting the GTB/velociti 4.5. is this a good system for an off road basher? i just run it on grass, pavement, and i jump it. is the 4.5 a good set up for brushless for an Epede?

4.5 is alot of motor. You would probably be just as happy with something a little milder.. like the 6.5

Speed plus Stampede equals Scares the hell out of me. We had a 5800 in a rustler and all it would do was backflips and also it would very quickly and efficiently remove the teeth from idler gears.

thanks i might get the 6.5 or the 4.5. my friend said that he drove 4.5 pede and he loved it and it beat a t-3.3 in second gear. not thats what i like. SPEEEEEEEEEEEEED. the 6.5 is that same price as the 4.5. it is a good deal. ill prolly go w/ the 4.5 but thanks for the help.

How fast will it go geared 19/87? You mean before the motor and ESC burn up or after? :p

I run the 5800 in my Pede geared 16/90 and it will run all day at about 30 mph. Geared the way you are talking? I sent back the molten slag to Novak for a replacement. The wires melted off the ESC it got so hot... And that was the 5800.
