It's crazy how the fascination with pip cars have popped up.

That looks pretty cool though!
good thing they primered it, so it wouldn't rust. ;)

I could see a PIP if it's a factory body, but these Foose/BTM lookin bodies, when's the last time you've seen one of them in PIP form, other than in 1/64 scale?

Its Jada's style to make their cars that way. Its like the ugly wheels on Matchboxes and tampos all over HW's. Gives them character. I was not that impressed with Jada diecast the first time I saw them. Now I really like them. I give Jada major kudos for not sitting back and being stagnet in their offerings. They have been making a steady stream of new available product while I see little from anyone else.

Anybody ever gave thought to the idea that this is a good way to recycle some of thier less than perfect production from past runs.............

I don't know that to be a fact, but I do know that black cars are used for that in production runs..............

Black paint seems to cover up some flaws that might be visable if say it were painted mettalic blue............

Depending on how bad the flaws are I think that cars that failed quality control would be great to be PIP cars.
