LifeLike T improvement

If you have ever been frustrated by the fact the LifeLike T motor has a thin shaft and you cannot use other gears you might like to know I have had an adapter made. Just been running my T with 8/18 gears and the thing is insane fast.

Mind you I had to build a 40' straight down my hall to make that gearing worth while, should be phenominal at this weekends National.Things like 8/21 and 8/22 should be good anywhere though and even the option to use Tyco gears is worthwhile.

Email/PM me for more details.

I think this car has more potential than most people realize. I believe with a little work it can run with the HOPRA superstock class agaianst the g3,storm and slotech t-1. It is by far the fastest car per dollar available. We can buy them at fleet farm for $9.89 each and sometimes the twin packs are $15.89. Add slip-ons and double flanged rims and you have the best box stock. A lexan body, gears and coated silicones gets you a car that can run with the superstocks.

I dont understand why but our local club wont even allow you to use a T chassis car or a SRT Tomy car. Because every one said "they are crap"? and no one wanted to take the time to develope one. So they said you cant use them in box stock. Which is stupid because those are for sale in hobby shops all over.

The first thing to remember is these cars need about an hour of running (break-in) before they run near their potential. USUALLY 2 HRS OR SO LATER THEY ARE BROKEN IN AND RUN MUCH BETTER. Put double flanged rims with about .420 diameter slip-ons plus or minus .010. Or you could run silicone sponge around .440 diameter. If you are running a race program this is also a good handicap--let the better or more experienced racers run the slip-ons and the newcomers or less experienced run the silicones. It tightens up the field. Very cheap speed !!!
