View Full Version : Hpi F1
Kris Stiles 12-04-2006, 10:14 PM This car is about 15 yrs old. This is not made anymore and would be a nice collector piece. It has a converted rear on it to accomadate a standard axle. You wont be disappointed with this purchase. Comes with a few spare parts as well. This car was run a few weeks ago to test it and it performs like its on rails. This car has upgraded bearings as well.
Asking 150.00
This car went for 350.00 in the early 90's.
Any questions email me at kstiles@dynasyscorp.com
Open to reasonable cash offers

Tshirt Man 12-17-2006, 02:26 AM cool someone else has one of these too. They were fast in their day! I raced mine at the Velodrome in Indy! Brings back memories!
MARCUS 12-17-2006, 07:19 AM Boy...the boards has changed. I remember, when 1 of the HPI F1 cars was posted.....they wouldn't even be on the board for 5 amybe 10 min. before they sold....now no 1 wants them. The just don't know. We had 3 peopl, that referred to our thread about the HIP SUPER F1 and no 1 bought it yet and we have extras w/hours.LOL :)
Note:
These cars, are 1 of the best F1's i've ever raced and thet run.
Jakes Dad 12-17-2006, 08:41 AM I used to have 3 of these. The HPI cars were a great design. Too bad they did not stick with them. These were a complete terror at the indy velodrome.
lordraptor1 12-17-2006, 05:15 PM if i had the cash i would buy all of these and the hpi mini's (1/12 scale ones) i could get my hands on, but i am not made of money and my r/c trade stuff has dwindled to the point of i have nothing anyone seems to want. LOL maybe one day someone will want to trade me something for my burned movie collection (which consists of at least 70 movies) would like to trade for an hpi f-1, hpi mini (with hop ups), mini pro, nitro mini (with hop ups), or a hyperdrive pro 3slider w/steering servo. but i am just dreaming i guess LOL
hopper 12-17-2006, 08:23 PM T Shirt man---I may have race against you. I raced mine at Indy in 1995 or 1996! Those were the days!
MARCUS 12-19-2006, 09:36 AM I am very suprised, that this HPI F1.....hasn't been sold, due to the $150.00 price tag. We wanted $225.00 with extras. What's going on? :)
lordraptor1 12-19-2006, 05:10 PM simple marcus, i think cash is tight for everyone at this time of year. LOL
swtour 12-21-2006, 12:48 AM All the HPI pan car stuff was awesome...
I still run my HPI RoadStar on most of the oval tracks I race at...won our last VELO race in Calif. about a week ago w/ my VELODROME Version w/ a NASTRUCK body...just exactly how I ran it...10 years ago. (actually the same 10yr old body...LOL)
MARCUS 12-21-2006, 09:46 AM I'm going to keep mine. Just for the tease......go to our web site and ck out the pics. Oh yeah, that's when it was for sale. LOL :)
