Here's one to see:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160056804294 (http://www.qksrv.net/click-1606754-5463217?loc=http%3A//cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll%3FViewItem%26item%3D1600568042)

If the link doesn't work the item number is 160056804294

So it looks like everyone that got one of these at the ihobby expo in Chicago is selling them and making quite the profit. And to think, it was a gift from Tom Lowe. That's a nice present. I hope Tom sees these selling on fleabay and maybe he'll put all of our names that are on the slot car board in a hat & draw names for the cars that are left. Because I assure you we would be more appreciative of these cars than the ones selling them. I know I wouldn't sell mine.
If anyone talks to Tom - relay this to Tom.
So - what do you all think? Gimme some input please.

I think it's interesting that madmike6866 lost the auction by just a penny.

Great idea. C'mon TL, Merry Christmas draw some names. :)

If Madmike wanted it he would have bid like $176.03. You know a few cents into the next dollar, not the last few cents of the previous dollar.

I understand he didn't know at what price it would end, but if your trying to win something you don't want to lose to someone bidding to the next nearest dollar amount.

I've only paid that much, or more for TWO cars out my more than 1,200 in my collection

1: An Aurora Batmobile, MIB
2: An AFX Super II built by Alan Ginko, with one of his acclaimed rewound arms.

Tom ashould pony one up to everyone who preordered his Red Afx repro line he's about a month behind in delivering.

I think that Tom should take all the people who ordered the first lap cars and put there names in a hat and draw for who gets them.I know i wouldn't sell mine if i got one.

....but it wouldn't be fair to people outisde of USA, as it was not allowed by Autoworld to pre-order first lap cars when international

For that kind of money TL should sell the leftover iHobby cars on EBay... lol
(If there are any...)
It wouldn't hurt any of his distributors or vendors because these were never offered for sale...
And if people are willing to spend that kind of money... Let them!
