nice work, tons better. Its the only Dash car I don't own, I thought they looked oddball, with the 4x4 look and balloon head guy.

How is thre body held onto the chassis? I cut off the front post and slide it down and glue it in with expoxy, that way I can still use it to hold the chassis firm.

They run great too, don't they? That body was meant for the Gplus chassis

So why not just cut off the front post and move it back to where the screw hole is in the G chassis?

I just used four dabs of hot glue. It hold good under normal circumstances, but can also be removed easy enough. And when I have to put it back together I can reglue it almost as fast as I can put a screw in.

That's why I have prefered the 440 X2 narrow chassis way, instead of the G+ narrow chassis (and also because I had some spare chassis)....
No need to glue, the body is firmly inserted on the chassis and doesn't move at all....

Instead when used with a G+ chassis, the body moves on it and so needed to be glued on (I don't like glue :-) )

Aynway, both chassis give justice to this nice body, compared to the "so high sitting 4x4 look" it has on T-Jet chassis

micyou03,

Yep, even remember some whining a little and such, whatever. Anyhow, mongo difference, ride sits down low, looks real good to these eyes.

Nice work ... great body details as well . . .

Cheers,
Jas

I don't recall any whining, I just stated the fact the the car looked bad the way it was. I got flamed a couple of times but there now seems ample proof that I was right. The converstions I have seen all show that Dash did a fantastic body but should have looked into using an alternative chassis.

I wish it would be redone to snap gight onto a chassis similar the G-Plus.

Still love Dash though, waiting with baited breath for their chassis and Mclaren F1 road car.
