Just picked up my first 1:43 scale diecast. I like ( no, make that LOVE) drag racing...Don Garlits is a Legend....GMP is one of the best diecast companys out there...and it only cost $6....what more can I say!
I love the vintage racing stuff ( all of it, drag, nascar, modifieds, indy, etc) so this was a great piece to get started with. Enjoy.

Congrats on your first 1/43 scale diecast model 69Stang!
You can't go wrong with GMP or "Big Daddy Don Garlits".
Six dollars was a Great deal! Where did you buy it?

You got that for $6.00?!? I've never seen them for less than $25.00. I've got two of them, but I dropped one and broke a wheel off.

OK, you caught me...I just went back and looked, it was actually $6.95! But I picked it up on Ebay last week!
I don't think any one ever bid, and I saw it was going to end so I just through it out there not dreaming I would win it! It was the opening bid, and I am sure the seller never thought it would sell for the opening!
I am now on the lookout for more!

Excellent buy! Don't you just love it when you win an auction that way?
