hey guy's wanted to let everyone know about this race freddies hobby is putting on had a awsome turnout last year.the race is on jan 14th the doors open at 7am and racing starting at 12noon and the track is open all day sat. 9am to 5pm for practice and maybe later you can talk to him about that.


the classes that are gunna run are

4cell stock
edm
spec truck
brp guy's
legends
4cell nastruck [same rules as 4cell just truck body]
spec brl truck

and any class with 4 or more entrys

plenty of pit space fully stocked hobby store on site so if you need parts you can get them

the track is 135' runline flat and super smooth with ice in the corners

Chris hit it on the head, I had a lot of door prizes last year and look forward to even more this year. Last year everyone got back they entry or more in prizes.

The racing in 4 cell was so close last year, just 2 one hundreths separated the A-main boys from the B-main boys. I think this years is going to attract even more people. Hope to see you all there. :hat: Party on!

he goes by arcor rules witch are pretty much the same as roar with the exceptoin of the hand out motors.hope this helps

Cool I think this year will be bigger and better than last year. We had some VERY CLOSE racing last year. Its only going to get better :thumbsup:

Our spec truck class this year will use our handout motors just as we are using now for the class. We will limit the entries to 24, because that's how many spec motors I have So its going to be first come first serve. :)

i will be there to take jason challenge in the spec truck class and i will be running 4-cell to which i have been spanking jason in as long as my bud doesnt take me out when i am lapping him!

I'll be there for EDM and Spec Brushless. Maybe we can get the Hooters gang to come over for EDM!

Remember the Spec Brushless is Freddie's rules . It must be a STOCK 4300 system period. Anyone showing up with something else will have a nice seat for a good day of racing, or I will be happy to see them a new system :)

You know its not rocket science. STOCK 4300 SYSTEM period You want to run the GTB put 4200's in it and bring 4 more guys and make your own class. I am not going to give into people to cheep not to play by the rules. I set the rules you dont agree build your own track and make things up yourself geeezzz how simple can it get STOCK 4300 System

Its very obvious to me that these people wanting the GTB or the up graded arm or end bell just cant race without trying to up the other guy. Its all about racing on a level playing field. Drive a good line and set your car up right and you wont need all the high $$$$ stuff. But then if you would figure that out you wouldn't be asking me all these silly questions

maybe just do your stock (4300) spec truck and a mod (4300) spec truck class ?? i think that is what everyone is trying to ask you about. i dont think anyone will really want to go to a 4200 battery class, no one has had much time with one, im pretty sure none of the guys at our track have done it. i want to do it just during practice to see what it will do myself !!

All I am saying in MY spec brushless class, people ar only allowed to use the 4300 system period.

Now like I mentioned before, if more than 4 show up you can make yoru own class. I am easy to along with. EVERYONE knows me spec truck rules, They can cry me a river about no letting them run in it. Rules are rules, they need to either grow up or buy the right speed O OR race in their own class its all good to me :thumbsup:

As for having 2 Spec Brushless classes, One w/stock system and one w/GTB, How many times does he have to say "Bring 4 other people" and you can run in your own class!

What i don't get is why does there have to be 2 classes of Spec Brushless??? Why can't the rules just be followed??

Last year we had 83 entries, I expect over a 100 this year. It is looking like there will be close to 50 4~cell stocks, and I am limiting the entries in Spec Truck to 30. It will have all handout motors.

If by any slim chance I receive a abundance of Pre entries I will limit ourselves to just 120 entries for Sunday's race. More than that we will run a two day program.

The doors will open at 7am. track will close at 10:30 with racing starting at 11:00 am. We will run three qualifiers, with a reshuffle after 2 and then the mains. Any further questions please drop me an e-mail

freddie, you got a rule about painted windows ?? just wondering if i gotta get a new body painted for my truck before us steel city guys come over !! mine are painted now.

The windows are suppose to be clear, but I dont have a problem if you paint. But all rules say windows must be clear if your going through the hassle of painting a truck. You should do it right. but to answer your question I personally dont care. You go boy :thumbsup:

Hey freddie, Have you had anyone ask you about running 4 cell truck? I would consider it if there is going to be enough people signing up, just wondering!!!???

Its still early yet, no interest as of yet though. but honestly it always comes down to maybe 20 pre entries and then WHAM ! everyone shows up the day of ? who knows more $$$'s in my pocket.

It does make it hard though preparing for a race when you have really no clue on how many people you will get. I had no idea we would of had the 83 we had last year. I think we only had 17-18 pre entries last year. I know a bunch of people who said they will be here, I expect over 100 this year. We will see :dude: < just sitting back and watching
