Saw some new AG cars at Wally's last night. 71 Chevy Impala in 2 diff colors, 77 Chevy Caprice in 2 diff colors & 78 T-Bird in off-white with medimum brown landau roof or mint green with dark green landau.
I bought the T-Birds.

78 T-Bird!!! Do you have any pictures?

Are these 1/64 scale or larger? The 71 Imp and the 76 Caprice were released previously as hideous high riders. The t-bird would be a new casting as I have never seen one before.

Unforunately I dont and neither does Motor Max.
It's well done for the price though.

These are 1/64th scale with flames on either the 71 or 76 .I cant remember which.

I haven't found any of these yet but would like all of 'em. I have been to 4 different Wal-Mart Supercenters within a 30 mile radius of my home and none of them seem to put out any new stock.

I still, for the life of me, can't understand why there are cars built in the 70's and later in this "American Graffiti" set....... I'm glad the castings are available, don't get me wrong, but how in the world do they get tied into the movie theme????

Same reason why they have a '05 300-c and a hummer H1 in their 1/24 scale line of american graffiti.

I found them too ! Both the Chevys had flames . Dont look right on a 70's Impala ... Although car color might have something to do with it , they are gold , Dk red , brown & black . Not as good a flame job as JLs ...

I bought the T-birds too . They need whitewall tires too improve them , but doubt Motormax will do that ...

I have noticed that almost everyone who has found these at Wal-Mart is from Illlinois or Wisconsin.........guess Wally World is starting from the center of the country and branching outward with new stock? All 4 that I have visited within the past week had nothing new except some new Hot Wheels cars.

Do these come apart with screws? I will have to pick up a few of these whenever I find em and customize them to my standards (aka ugly 70's colors to fit the character of the cars.)

Florida just got em in.

at two bucks a pop,it's the cheapest way I know, to get quality donor wheels.

First of all..........Both the t-Birds, Impalas and Caprices WOULD look good with whitewalls because that is what 99.9% of them had when they were new. secondly, we are not talking wide whites here, just the narrow style whitewall commonly found on most cars in the 60's and 70's. Thirdly, I think that you had no trouble voicing your opinion, let someone else have theirs.

Well, I FINALLY found both the Chevy's and the T-Birds! Thing is, they still do not have any in the 4 Wal-Mart's within 1-30 miles of my house, here in central Ohio. I found all of them at the Wal-Mart in Reno, NV on my vacation this past weekend. The pictures do not do these castings justice, they look much better in the metal!

I found the '71 and "'77" (actually '76) big Chevies and the '78 Thunderbird here in Arkansas at Wal Mart.

Too bad you didn't have pitures of the caprice and impala I have both cars and can get them and the ThunderBirds this week-end if our wal mart still has them. They did today when I was there.

Dear All:

Nice to see pictures of the Ford Thunderbird;trully a nice miniature, thanks.

I went to a Wal Mart three days ago and I was not able to find any of the Chevys (even the 'monster truck' type) or the Ford.Of course,I want the 'normal' height Chevrolets.

What I found on a CVS Pharmacy was the Jeep Commander. An excellent casting for its price (lots of details).
