i was playing around with my tejets today and i got aj's silicone tires took the rear tjet tires off used the stock tjet rims put the aj's tires on got modeling clay and put a little bit in the excess room now my tjets can have wide tires without ne rims or anything

the rim may break, so what, you'll have new ones. I just got a boatload of weird jack silicone tires too, I'll send you some of them too.
I remember getting started into slots, if it wasn't for my older cousins I never would have got into it. back then (mid 70's) there was no internet, just word of mouth. when I was in 11th grade I thought I was the most knowledgable person on earth when it came to slotcars (not kidding) I never knew there were others out there who cared.

LOL,funny you say that.It was my cousin that pointed me in a direction with slots as well,man,must have been '70 or '71.
Man,I remember going to the hobby shop with him and buying Aurora Hop Up Kits and running billions of laps in his basement.
Setting a few cars on fire with that red oil that came in the little Testors paint bottle was always fun too.

I would guess the only way to do it would be if you could open up the motor and bend the copper tabs that hold the motor brushes.
