what i like about 1/4. even when you
lose. its still fun. because you still have to drive that beast around the track.

I Always thought you had to drive all scale vehicles around the track. Even if you win or lose.

Just pickin atcha. that old saying it does not matter if ya win or lose if you "HAD A GOOD TIME"
That is one thing i wish all folks could remember.

ROFL... I love it, trash talking, and the track ain't even built yet. Man am I looking forward to this season!!

I've never met Freddie, but I know folks who have. They all say ( and I mean all) that he runs a class act race track and he does it right. Fun is the number one thing in any hobby, otherwise why do it? Sometimes gettting the feathers ruffled is all in good fun too.

Freddie, I have your first race on the GLQSR schedule. I'm hopping that the our club will be supporting the grand opening as well. in our meeting I talked it up a bit, so I think there should be few Michiganders there to make things intresting.

Come on spring!!!

i will have to say that freddie runs a nice program as i run it every week on the indoor carpet track.you wont find a track owner like freddie he goes above and beyond what most track owners do to make sure everything is in order the way it should be.

i cant wate to get on this new track with the 1/4 scales.looking forward to meeting alot of new racers coming from other states its gunna be a blast.

later chris

yes, the other scales are fun too . but i don't ever remember having that
much fun , just about everytime i put the car on the track. And you certainly can't refer to a 1/10 car as a beast when talking about SIZE...... :freak:

by the way. when running timed heats like 1/10 , it doesn't matter where you finish every race. just have to get the majic run in one of the heats.
so NO
you don't have to drive the car around the track when losing. I've seen people pull the car down pit lane if someone hit them and ruined there run.
I wouldn't do that but people do and you can . just try again on the next run. 1/4 doesn't work that way. finish order is what matters. so keep driving because someone could break or crash out and that could make the
difference.

probably the only time i didn't have fun in 1/4 was when my throttle servo went bad and the car when full speed down the straight and into the wall head on. I don't believe i was smiling that time. LOL

weird thing is , that same chassis, (with new parts ofcourse) was turning some of the fastest laps at classic last year. i wasn't driving it of course.

LetsRace. Man I bet that wasn't a purty site wide open into the wall with a 1/4.I hear ya. I know I wouldn't a been smiling either.

Was Kinda like maiden voyage with a new KSG. Came outta turn 2 Got loose and they had poured new crete aprons before you get to tri-oval. well new car hit it. and never did find all the peices of that car. was destroyed. Made for a rough day.

We all got excited about a new 1/4 scale track coming and the whole 2007 1/4 scale racing season. We just got a little too noisy so Hank hit the mute button.

So, you didn't miss anything but a bunch of over zealous racers looking to put away the heavy winter garments and pull out the 410 Cats!

Freddie can fill you in by PM.

Looking outside at 10 inches of snow, and the temp in the teens, its hard to believe that our race season is only 6 / 8 weeks away.

Come on WARM weather!

The PA POSSE is pumped and ready to race!
