Besides the obvious, GL's make for cool holiday gifts. I ran across a pretty cool Holiday gift idea that I just had to take advantage of for both myself and my son.

I'm sure many of you are aware of the Richard Petty Driving Experience. They are for a limited time offering the "Ride Along" experience for almost half off. Yep, for 59.00 you can strap into a NASCAR car and go to the track on their schedule that works best for you and have a great time. The tickets are good on any date and any track they go to with some exceptions. I think Adam and I will do Michigan or Chicago.

I don't know how long the offer is good for but I did order mine today by phone. My boss did this last year and then did the "Rookie Experience" and had a blast.

My wife took the ride along and had the thrill of her life.
She bought me the whole driving experience, for my 40th birthday.

Unless she can get me into a top fuel Dragster driving school, that gift to me will never be topped.

Well she can get you close. That darn ride at Cedar Point is like a Top Fuel ride gone wrong. Image you are blowing off the line and your rear track bar breaks sending the nose skyward for several hundred feet until you nose dive back down to earth only to have the need to change your pants after it is over.
