Any one know why Racing Champions didnt release any nascar this year? Are they through with nascar? No more race for the chase? :confused:

they only do promo pieces when contracted to do so.
All the (good sellers) drivers are signed with Motorsports Authentics (formerly RCI-Action and Team Caliber).

MA cancelled their license like they did HW Racing because they couldnt buy them.
No competition, poor distribution at retail level, rising prices, all part of MA's monopoly. :(

You hit on the head....MA is making it hard on large scale Nascar collecting. The big names (10 to 15 cars) will be all that is left. And if you are into one of those, your happy, if not...tough luck!

if you join rcca, you can pick up some of the more rare cars and drivers. it's still contolled by ma as everything is. but you have access to a better variety.
but rcca is a total mess since ma took over and i dropped out. i would no longer advise anyone to join unless your ready to be dissappointed at times and wonder where your shipments are, etc.

Thanks for the tip Kwik ... i got christmas Money this year and was going to join ... but since you pretty much told the lowdown on them .. i just changed my mind ! :thumbsup:
