Nothing wrong with it, but it is worth the mention. 6 to 8 months ago, Upay might have 15 to 20 Greenlight listings. Mostly Indy, or MCG set and lots ( I am trying to collect the 1:64 Indy stuff, so I am always looking). But as most folks, I had purchased my MCG set from one of our OLD's.

But now that they are available at K-Mart's, etc...just look at it now! Today there were 159 listings....almost ( 85%) as single car listings! Again most from the MCG series. Again, nothing wrong with it, as I am glad they are available from time to time at the retail level, but it really made the "dealers" ( like how I used the nice word?) jump into the pool!

Yep, our good friends the dealers...."What do have we here? Greenlight uh?" "I've heard of these, I can't waite to get these home and get them on Upay. I hear their worth a fortune!"

Again, nothing inherently evil, ( I have cars running on upay right now), but I just noticed that untill they were available at the retail level, easy to buy a car at a time, they reall were not listed very offten. Just wondered if anyone else had noticed the same trend.

Actually there are more then 400 Greenlight auctions, mostly racing.

I did my search under the word "Greenlight". What did you search to get that many hits. That's even more amazing!

Search Title and Description, you'll get over 400 hits, maybe 350 of those are actual Greenlight products, I'm not going through everyone.

using the `search titles and and descriptions` 398 comes up in the `toys and hobbies` section.
Still quite a bit of these and I haven`t even seen 1 piece of GL in a retail store.

Yea guys, I just went through the Title and description option, and your right, A ton of racing , but also over maybe 100 that were not Greenlight ( tons of JL and HW). That is after narrowing down the search to "diecast" only.

GLShelby, You guys have no retail outlets for GL up there? (VA right?) They are in several K-Marts here, as well as the other chains listed in the threads. I have only seen them once in a TRU, but now they seem to be in another chain acording to the post.

My only point being that I never saw them show up in this kind of numbers ( mostly refering to the loose MCG ) untill they became available through the retail outlets. Most folks did not seem to buy them from an OLD ( as orgional only available) just to relist them on the Bay. But the good point of all of this is that I found and bid on several missing Indy cars!

These are like any thing else with a little value. EBay it.
