I just bought this go kart, it turns over good. I removed spark plug and it sparks fine. I can smell gas on the spark Plug I even put gas manualy into the head with a straw, but still it doesn't start. The Carb was made in Japan. there is a few hoses that are not connected and a couple of extra plaugs with out hoses. also I found a hose aabout 4 inches long that has a one way value at the end that came off someplace but I can't see where. what fun, can any one Help ? thanks

Put a new plug in and try......, I'd also see if it also has any compression (bounces back when spun backwards is a ok trick to do)
was it bought new or used?

I get Plenty of spark from the spark Plug. you can tell that they ran the engine from the factory. There is residue on the spark plug. from running. this is a new go kart. Thanks

the chinese have flooded the market with this trash and its a pisspoor copy of some
idea they got from us their quality sucks take that copy engine off of it throw it away
and install a briggs honda or something that runs at least and quit buying this crap
youll be lucky if you can even take it back where you bought it GOOD LUCK

I'd have to say just take the danged thing back. if you just bought it and got it from some place like Tractor Supply, you shouldn't have much of an issue returning it.

If its new, china crap or not.... it should have a warranty... see if you can return it...
I'd recommend name brand.... that residue for all you know, could be because it was already returned.
