is a boot disk the same thing as a system disk, because i googled how to make a systen disk for my computer, since thats what it wants at boot up. i only found how to make a boot disk is this the same thing?

They are pretty much the same, only that the system disk has the actual Operating System on it.
A boot disk enables the user to gain access to certain features to aid a person in diagnosing, formatting or copying information if the system disk is corrupted or inaccessible through normal means.
