How dare they...
You walk in and sitting with all the other junky toys is a Hot Wheels Street Speed Challenge set for $2.42
The box had been opened... But it doesn't look like the set was ever used... (?)
The cars and controllers and whatnot are still wrapped in plastic...
But for $2.42 I couldn't let it sit there, could I?

Yeah, that is the set...
Don't feel bad --rick, I bought one at regular retail also...
On the other hand, the chassis are so bad in this set I doubt if the chassis are worth the $2.42 I paid....
Mattel really messed up the Tyco line didn't they...
One thing Mattel had to do was improve the track and leave the chassis alone..
But NOOOO........
Ok, I am done now...

actually, i took the chassis that was under the yellow car and put it under a Bad Dog Mustang concept car... the wheels looked right and it ran okay for a runner.
but that other chassis with the wacky wheel sizes and the magnets sticking out the bottom... weeeeeeeeeird...

Great find for under three bucks. Now, how did they come up with $2.42? Why not $5.00 or an even $3.00, but $2.42? :freak: rr

Including your wife! (And finding her too!)

The slot-gods are looking after you-
I envy your good fortune! ;)
