Can you give us a synopsis, please? For those of us who can't view that site you link to? :)

Don't know why you can't read it. It's a public forum.

Anyway, there is a Target Coupon for $10.00 off a Transformers Cybertron Primus (an action figure I gather). Now there are figures that cost say $15.00 to $20.00 or more but there are also ones that are priced at $5.99 and $6.99.
And from what I can tell there is no limit to how many you can buy.

If you buy a $5.99 one and use a coupon it goes like this on the cash register:

Toy = $5.99
Coupon = -$10.00
Total = - $4.01 (credit)

Now I don't think they will give you money but it's included in the total so:

If you buy 100 of the same item at $5.99 = $599.00.
Use 100 coupons for $10.00 credit each = $1000.00 Credit.
Then buy a $400.00 DVD Player = $400.00
Total owing = $1.00

Sounds kewel, I guess. Not really in to those toys, tho my son is. I'll have to pass this info on to my wife so she can maybe do a little extra Christmas shopping for him.

Regardless, thanks for the run down.

I'm guessing that Target will pass on your savings to all subsequent customers in the form of higher prices to cover the price of the coupons and items combined.

Some coupons are also only eligible once and not in combination of others, so you may get $10.00 off one of the Transformers, but you'll have to pay $1.99 for the second one and full price for the 98 others.

Two clichés that bear repeating:

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!
