Just wanted to post a comment on LPR over in Montgomery, AL. My son and I went over on Sat for their Boyd Hughes memorila Race. These guys are a class act and put on one heck of a show. Beautiful racing complex with lots of pit space and very well maintained. If you are close buy I urge you to stop in and say hi to Tim and the gang they will make you welcome. We can't wait till next year to go run with them.

I hear ya man!!! I've heard nothing but good stuff about the track and people there. If I was independently wealthy, I'd be there now, but I've been working my tail off. 2 jobs, a wife, new house and maintaining a website. it's tough. But I plan on going down there in the next year or so. That's what is fun about this sport, traveling and meeting new people.

Joe & Jim,

Thanks for the kind words. CCRC members are fine folks.

I just received an email from Joe Goodwin's son "Cody". Joe has been in the hospital for several weeks. He is recovering and hopes to be home soon. Let's all say a prayer for Joe and his family. Joe has been in R/C racing for years & is a great asset to the hobby.

Get well Joe!

I second that, Joe is a good guy. I hope everything goes well for him.

I was also wondering when you are starting your 1/4 scale season? I am going to try to make a few of your sun. races this season. I seen on your schedule that your running april 8 is this a 1/4 scale race?

Thanks.

GET WELL JOE.

We start this coming Sunday. We run both 1/10 & 1/4 scale on the same days. Our schedule is setup so that we run one Saturday & one Sunday per month. Come on over anytime!

Maybe I'll get to meet you at one or the other? A few of us from LPR are hoping to make the rounds this year ourselves.
