Hello I am in dire need of some help

Ok I am currently building something that will use a twin motor gearbox: spaceivficly this one (http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=70097)

But the problem is that the hobby shop I am going to buy it from has only the Japanese one and the instructions are in Japanese too
So here is my question
If you have used or know how this works then can you tell me: If I where to put one motor forward and the other one in reverse would the gears go that way or are they connected some how where they have to spin at the same direction.

its pretty simple to construct this thing...everything kind of just drops in.

--fromt tamiya site---
The Tamiya twin motor gearbox is a nice drivetrain if you do not want to use servo controlled steering. It has 3 configurations (AB and C), 2(AB) of which are 58:1 and 1(C) which is 203:1. The gearbox can be taken apart and re-assembled into any of the configurations, there is no permanent pieces that are soldered or glued together. Do not rip open all the bags and dump them together. The instructions seem to be a little lacking at first, but if you follow the pictures and open the bags as you need them it should be pretty easy...

and here is a PDF of someone putting the gearbox together for a differnt project, but it shows you how the gearbox goes together.

good luck....

thanks for the info but that did not awnsure my main question. maybe i did ask it right: can this gearbox rotate one side forward and one side backwards at the same time and vise-versa?

frmo reading the different projects out there.. yes. two seperate motors, in essence can make the unit "spin" if ones going forward and ones going "back". the main shaft is NOT connected, and its two seperate shafts going to each tire.

do a google, and you'll see a crapload of projects where people make things using this gearbox.
